This is a celebratory piece to commemorate a lot of important recent events. An acknowledgement of my progress, a celebration of every sacrificial step. A Thank You to 200 followers on BlueSky. A farewell to the drawing tablet that brought me this far, an ode to all the skills I've honed through its lifespan. Symbolized in 20 years of life, on this birthday of mine. I have much to be thankful for, and many to be thankful towards. I hope that any joy I experience today will continue to be amplified and ushered towards everyone who trots this path with me.
Good day everyone! Unfortunately, my drawing tablet of 3 years has stopped working entirely. So my hand has been forced to buy a new one. It's an unexpected expense, so I'd like to collect some commission money for it to pay itself off. I'll start queuing up commissioners from now on a first come first serve basis, and I'll start working as soon as it arrives. This is by no means an emergency, but I'd still greatly appreciate it, as a random spending of 100+ dollars while saving for other things understandably hits hard. A shiny purple vase modeled to somewhat resemble a curvy dress, with a sharp round turn to the base. There's a transparent glass face to see the stem through. The flower and stem were not drawn by me! They were provided along with the tutorial.
As a prospective indie game dev with (currently) no formal training, one of my biggest fears is that I won't be able to properly capture the brilliantly vivid ideas in my head. That after working so hard and passionately, in the end, I won't be able to realize the incredible vision I had, or worse, that same vision not being as brilliant as I thought.. This is a fear that's perpetuated every time I sit down to draw or write, where what's on the page is completely different from what's in my head. This fear is alleviated whenever I revisit the first game in a series I love, just, sitting down and seeing this game that went through so many development cycles. From an idea sprouted and carried by a lead dev, to an idea discussed deeply in several board meetings, worked on by teams of developers overseen and guided by the lead dev.. and there was *still* room for improvement. It's a spectrum from which comforting inspiration can be taken from every section.

Armored Core based off my favorite wheelchair-bound character in fiction, Bentley from Sly Cooper! Incorporating general design elements from Bentley himself and Sly Cooper as a series, resulting in a very mobile tank with heavy explosive firepower and versatile, skill based weaponry. The decals make the machine's core resemble the Cooper Gang's van, and is adorned with Sly's logo (in the middle of the tank legs), Bentley's logo (on the left arm), and Murray's logo alongside Sly and Bentley's (on the right arm) Additionally, the head is colored to resemble the bicycle helmet Bentley wears in the 3rd game while on missions, with his brown glasses on top (though it's hard to see given how small the head is compared to the rest of the machine).

Prayer hanging upside down in a jungle of bamboo, belly hefting downwards due to gravity, with Cap'n Skitty inside. Prayer, who normally has scythes for hands, is wearing specially made gloves which mimic the function of regular hands.
My first time attempting to stylize my work to this degree, Prayer definitely deserves it after going so long without a full artwork. I wanted her swords in particular to stand out- given its their first appearance alongside her, so I designed them as if she plucked them right out of a passionately charcoal-drawn manga (if such a thing exists)!
