hourlies 12pm: an event at the south street seaport museum! they let us use 19th century printing presses to make valentines cards! i made so so many of them!
11am: honey latte + pain au chocolat for breakfast, then on the J train heading to a valentines card printmaking event downtown!

getting really into batman has made me feel deeply silly because i'm much more used to being into things that are not One Of The Most Recognizable Properties In The World, where seeing someone else in the wild who happens to have, like, a tshirt for the obscure musical i'm obsessed with or something, would be Notable and A Conversation Topic, so i get unreasonably excited when i see a person on the subway wearing batman merch and then i have to remind myself about the aforementioned Very Very Popular Superhero Media thing and feel a little bit mortified about it. and then just have to move on with my day like that. with all this fucking batman trivia in my head
