The Plaintown Kids are from an in-universe video game series called "XSona" for my alternate timeline, the Indremaverse/Extremaverse, where the defunct video game company Indrema lives, and these serve as one of Indrema's hit franchises. These three kids get trapped into another universe, including the titular planet of XSona.
