University of Sunderland Call for Participants Title of study: Impact Study: Inclusive Improv Pedagogy I am interested in exploring the impact of past research on improv pedagogy. I am looking for neurodivergent people to be a part of this study who are: • 18 years old or over • Diagnosed or self-identify as neurodivergent • Able to complete two questionnaires at a mutually convenient time, on separate occasions If you choose to participate, you will have to consent to particpate via the online form. You will participate in two questionnaires about a current or recent improv course - they will also need to agree! INVITATION FOR RESEARCH STUDY: Understanding Family Support for Autistic University Students in the UK Study aim: To understand how family support may impact autistic students' university experiences. WE ARE INVITING. Autistic students and recent graduates/ex-students At least 18 years old . Have completed at least 1 full-time, on-campus term of an Undergraduate or Taught Masters course at a UK university (you do not need to have passed the term) ⚫ Graduates/ex-students must complete the survey within 1 elinor.lim@port.ac.uk calendar year of leaving university £10 Amazon vouchers to be won! Have you ever experienced Autistic Burnout? YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED! An autistic graduate student from the Social Connections & Treatment Lab (SCTL) at the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute at Drexel University is conducting an online study to learn more about the experience of autistic burnout in autistic adults. They are seeking input from autistic adults who have experienced autistic burnout. They hope to use this information to create a survey about autistic burnout that is informed by lived experiences. This project will help us: Understand autistic experiences of autistic burnout. Build ways we can measure whether an autistic person is experiencing burnout. Find ways to support autistic individuals experiencing autistic burnout. You can take part in this study if you: (a) are 18 years old or older, (b) identify as autistic or on the spectrum (with or without formal diagnosis), (c) and currently live in the United States What would I do as part of this study? You will participate in several online surveys asking you about your experiences of autistic burnout and what sorts of things someone experiencing autistic burnout might go through. • Participation in this research study is voluntary. HOW TO BE INVOLVED This research project involves two games jam sessions where participants will be invited to share their experiences of academia. The games jams will last two hours each and you may choose whether to partake via call or by typed messages. You may be anonymous. If you are interested then you can contact the research team (details below) and they will reach out to you with further information about the research project.
OUR VISION 1. To document the experiences of autistic women in academia 2. To produce and share a video game as a research tool that reflects accurately and fairly the experiences of autistic women in academia 3. To highlight any barriers autistic women may face in academia and recommend suggestions for improvement
ABOUT OUR GAMES JAM Our Games Jam is a chance for autistic women in academia to share their experiences of neurodivergency in higher education. From this, a video game and branching narrative will be created to share disseminate those experiences through visual mediums. No games making experience is required! Our games jam is a chance for autistic women (with formal diagnosis or self diagnosed) to share their experiences in academia to lead the direction of a new short video game and branching narrative. This research project is participant action led - meaning those involved will direct all of the content that will be included in the game.

Hello everyone, this study needs 40 volunteers to take part their PhD research exploring Autistic social communication through an examination and comparison of structural features of conversation through a neurodiversity lens. You will be asked to have an in-person 30 minute conversation with someone who has the same brain type as you (either autistic or non-autistic). You will then be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire on how you experienced the conversation you just had. This will take an absolute maximum of 1 hour of your time.
