The NGC 4631 Group is a poorly defined group of galaxies, about 25 million light-years from Earth in the Coma Berenices and Canes Venatici constellations. The NGC 4631 Group is one of many that lie within the Virgo Supercluster

The central region of the Rosette Nebula, also known as SH2-275 and contains the open cluster NGC 2244. There is a blue central region comprising of OIII emmisons, there is an interesting collection of darker dust regions atthe bottom known as the Carnival of Animals

40 percent illuminated Moon, it is in the waxing crescent phase so is becoming more illuminated each passing day. Lots of craters can be seen, especially along the terminator, the line between night and day on the Moons surface

A brightly coloured nebula having a blue central region which is ionised oxygen, and then gold and red hues caused by ionised Sulphur and Hydrogen. There are many stars in the image, but the brightest one in the middle just above the nebula is Menkib, a massively bright O7 star that puts out immense amounts of radiation resulting in the glowing nebula.
The bright star in the middle is Polaris (The Pole Star), this is surrounded by faint dust, this dust is called the Integrated Flux Nebula and is dust and gas outside the plane of our galaxy which is illuminated not by one star but the total flux of all the stars in the Milkyway

In this image there are many many galaxies of varying sizes, the fainter dust that is visible resides within our galaxy along with the stars. Many of the smaller fainter blobs are also galaxies that are 100's of millions of light years away

A spiral galaxy called M51, there are darker dust lanes visible swirling into the core, there is also another galaxy NGC 5195 that is in the process of merging on the right and is located behind the galaxy from our perspective.
Jupiter can be seen on the right with its four main moons labelled, on the far left is Callisto, to the left of Jupiter you have Europa and then Io slightly above and closest and on the far right you have Ganymede.
A bright mag 4 star Mu Orionis is located in the center, just off to the bottom right is the planetary nebula Abell 12 The Hidden Planetary Nebula, this is just 37 arc seconds across.

A detailed picture of the Moon 60 percent illuminated in in waxing gibbous phase. The colour of the regolith has been enhanced so there is some subtle colour variations not normally seen.
Lots of faint galaxies surround by stars which are local to our galaxy. This cluster is ocated 500 million light years away and comprioses of over 200 galaxies. The galaxies are of different shapes and sizes, some can be seen colliding.
Star trails around the North Star Polaris. The effect is due to the earths rotation, the northern axis of rotation is centred very near the star Polaris. The trails show the colours of the stars. The brightest arc near the middle is Polaris.

The surface of the Sun imaged in Hydrogen Alpha, there is fine structure visible around the active region which contains dark spots . This is where the magnetic field penetrates the suns surface cooling the plasma slightly. There are also darks wispy areas which are filaments extending away from the surface. The surface temperature is about 5000 degrees C

A colourful nebula with fine structure in blue and orange, there is a faint blue outer shell with a more dense inner orange shell. There are thousands of stars in the background. Many people say this looks like a brain, I think I agree.
The gas giant Jupiter, the different coloured bands of brown, orange and white are clearly visible and the famous great red spot which is a storm that is larger than the Earth.
