I arrived at Brew River, a restaurant perched along the Wicomico River in Salisbuy, the largest city in the state's Eastern Shore region, with people packing the marina and the restaurant overlooking it.

Great place!
Each pilot competes against a running clock. After clearing their boat slips, competitors throttle forward and turn hard, then reverse hard, backing into another narrow slip at full tilt, coming to a stop inches from the bulkhead, then lasso two lines to the pilings.
