The dark waves crash against the shore, Relentless motion, evermore. The distant hills, strong, silent, vast, A steadfast watch that's built to last. And through the storm, the sun's gold gleam, A constant hope, a waking dream.
In the sun-drenched memory of spring's soft kiss, My heart returns to moments I truly miss. The vibrant pink of petals, a sweet, warm hue, Against the green leaves, where sunlight filters through. Each bloom a quiet whisper, a gentle sigh, Beneath a long-gone, brilliant, azure sky. Though seasons turn and summer's light may fade, The spring's bright promise in my mind has stayed.
