this is one of my biggest problems with AI: lots of genuinely really good and useful tech (even to artists!) just gets lumped in with the slop machines and neither side has any interest in making the line less blurry. not all "AI" is bad and that stuff shouldn't have the label anyway
Also this proprietary system for trend analysis which is a bit more evil I think but not quite the cocomelon contraption level
AI discourse has poisoned the well so hard, we have people treating any new techniques or advances in efficiency as evil.
Ah so similar to how things like wan animate or different forms of gaussian splatting can be used more as a engine to predict animation poses based on sketches plus your modeling
