Sarah McAnulty is a squid biologist who doubles as an artist. McAnulty is creator of Skype A Scientist and several other projects intended to engage the public with science. She recently began giving away thousands of bags of native plant seeds, which she attached to colorful street posters, in an effort to help restore the butterfly population.
