I think we can all agree that there are too many kinds of everything. The natural mechanisms of capitalism have been allowed to churn too long and too hot, and now innovation has turned in on itself and most of what we’re sold is repackaged versions of existing trash, in quantities we can’t keep up with, tariffs be damned.
