But the pop critique never extends to "so here's why we must figure out a command economy" or "so we transition to market socialism." Pointing at a problem and shrugging is no way to live.

Like I don't think it'd ever work, but I want to see someone try the Chilean cybernetics experiment with modern sensors and ai for a healthier top down economy. Otoh, if you consider Walmart a state and customers its civilians, they're basically there
