the price of a steam machine (~1040€) decided to see if I could build a PC around the same type of ballpark from a couple locally trusted PC part sellers here. It's more limited and a little more expensive, but local or not, overall it's bad. The current PC part market is broken because of AI. :(

Sadly this was inevitable and also doesn't bold well for the Steam Frame if the price for the Steam Machine is any indication of the route chosen.
