Why do people call to abolish only the lone Jewish state though? In light of the 2026 FIA World Cup, New York City is ringing in the spirit of the tournament with country-inspired train wraps now rolling across the MTA system. Across all five boroughs, the trains will represent each of the 48 countries competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The first FIFA World Cup 2026 branded trains, representing Senegal and France, are already in service on the 1 line. Brazil and Morocco were wrapped and are now in service on the R line. Additional wrapped trains are expected to roll out in the coming days and weeks as the tournament begins.
