European Union Destinations: Postal services suspended

Canada Post is temporarily suspending parcel acceptance to select European Union destinations due to new EU customs requirements for low value shipments.

Effective July 1, The European Union introduced:

- A new €3 customs duty per item, in addition to import VAT.
- Enhanced item-level data and compliance requirements.

Service suspended (until further notice)

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain

Service available (DDU destinations)

Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden

Canada Post will continua to accept shipments to destinations where Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) remains operationally feasible while working to implement compliant solutions across impacted markets.
