A flyer for the "State of the Science Conference" on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Accessible Technology, hosted by Gallaudet University. The event will take place September 16–17, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST. Attendees can join in person at the Multipurpose Resource Room or online via Zoom. The registration deadline for both options is September 5, 2025, and accommodation requests for in-person attendance are due by September 1, 2025. A flyer titled “State of the Science Conference – Call for Student Submissions,” hosted by Gallaudet University and available in person or via Zoom on September 16–17, 2025. You must be: 18 years or older; deaf, hard of hearing or have hearing loss; familiar with communication technology; able to participate in an online Zoom session on a computer. We want to know what you think! We want to learn how to improve Text-to-Speech technology (TTS) for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have hearing loss. TTS is a technology that allows you to convert text to speech automatically. This involves: One-Time Online Session in ASL and English. Duration: 12O min. Compensation: $75.
