Here's the thing I have with all proclamations like this: 1) They're right. That shit is a "sponsored post". An ad. Shirley is being paid by the company. 2) I understand this is me being a blackpilled doomer cynic, and Juniper isn't the person I'm being a downer about - she isn't the slightest bit part of the problem - but who the fuck is gonna do anything about this? I pray to whatever that the overton window shifts to the point where this is a possibility, much less a reality. The GOP are 100% behind this as are probably 3/4 or more of elected Dems. What EDs right now are calling for even tighter regulations? What would a vote look like in the house or senate that read "betting on political outcomes are banned in the US"? Would it even reach 100 yes votes in the house? 20 in the senate? We are so far away from rooting out corruption and punishing the villains and it just keeps getting worse in almost every facet.
