I just bought Mac Mini but not what you guys think for I've wanted to build a small home server for a while now and I got worried the prices will rise with the sudden spike in demand First step, set up @dokploy.bsky.social locally so I can manage my VPSes

Just wondering what you thought the first thought would have been. Assume it would have been OpenClaw or a local LLM nowadays? The RAM crisis makes everything so expensive. Was lucky with my MacbookAir playing the battery max capacity lottery getting a refurbished one with 100% and only 30 charges.

TIL Dockploy. I was writing up my own little blue green github actions, but digging in to this, I think I might have a play with it.

Gaaah was thinking the same thing… do I really need to? Or should I hesitate and wait for the price to double?

Thinking about setting up a vps for experimenting with what you thought we guys thought you'd buy a mac mini for.

I use my M1 mini as a server and I’m quite happy with it. My primary use case is VPN server and @immichapp.bsky.social ;)

Nice! I want to have something similar as well, but somehow always feel like I don't have time for such projects 🙈 Have fun with it 😉

I have one of those as well. Super silent and powerful, even with only 16GB. I have a docking station with an additional NVMe attached tho. Have fun!
