What we can’t know with certainty yet is: 1. Do they plan to use these extreme tariffs to eventually get free trade in as many places as possible Or 2. Do they think these tariffs bring the jobs in Vietnam, china, etc back into the US. My guess is they want the later. And that’s ruinous.
