Hi everyone, a quick notification from us about an upcoming change to Spotify scrobbling. Starting next week, Spotify are introducing a 6-month expiration on refresh tokens. This is to protect user accounts and ensure that "apps can only access user data when that access is still relevant and intentional." What this means for Spotify scrobbling Refresh tokens are used by Last.fm to access your Spotify listening data and automatically scrobble it to your Last.fm profile. After July 20th you will need to reconnect your Spotify account to Last.fm every 6 months otherwise our access to your account will expire and scrobbling from Spotify will stop until you reconnect it again. To get a head start on this, we are advising users to reconnect Spotify scrobbling this week. In your application settings next to "Spotify Scrobbling", please click on the 'Disconnect' button (pictured below). It will then change to a red 'Connect' button -- click on this to refresh the connection. That's it.
