Good morning and Happy Sunday!☕🤗 📸Maggie Smith as Epifania in The Millionairess (1972), based on a 1936 play written by George Bernard Shaw. It was BBC's Play of the Month production, where the idea was to adapt plays into TV films for wider audiences. Maggie appeared in few of these adaptations.

...Epifania Fitzfassenden, the lead role in The Millionairess, was also portrayed on stage by Edith Evans, Katharine Hepburn and Sybil Thorndike, and in the 1960 film by Sophia Loren. #MaggieSmith #TheMillionairess #GeorgeBernardShaw
