Coffee cake Topping - 1 cup Flour 2/3 cup light brown sugar 1 and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon 1/2 cup butter, softened and cubed Oven 350° for 30 to 35 minutes Cake - 2 cups flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp. Baking soda 1/2 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 cup sugar 2 large eggs room temperature 1 and 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 cup sour cream room temperature 1.) whisk flour, brown sugar and cinnamon together. Add cubed butter and mix with a fork until crumbly. Cover and put in the fridge. 2.) spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray and set aside 3.) whisk flour, baking powder & soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside. 4.) beat butter & sugar with hand mixer for 4 min, until fluffy 5.) mix in eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Scrape sides as needed. 6.) on low, add dry ingredients in 3 parts (dry, sour cream, dry, sour cream, dry) do not over mix. >> 6.5) (MISSING FROM IMAGE) POUR CAKE BATTER INTO GREASED PAN. CRUMBLE TOPPING ON TOP OF CAKE BATTER 7.) bake until toothpick comes out clean. 8.) cool on cooling rack for 45min-1hr, then enjoy.

What advice might you have to give for any aspiring creatives out there? Be brave. If you’re working on something and you are scared to show it, you’re probably doing something right. At times it was terrifying for me to make this film. I thought about what people would think, what if people wouldn’t like it, what if no one would think corn eyes are funny… but you can’t make something great if you are working in fear. You have to make something YOU like. If you don’t make it from a place of pride/love, no one will like it. It’s hard and terrifying but you have to be brave and take big swings.
