At a time when Elon Musk is specifically promising to fund "moderate" Democratic primary challengers against successful progressives, a newcomer who suddenly has money from the GOP's donors is not what my district needs.

I knew I had to volunteer when I saw that tweet. I do think newcomers are generally great! And maybe Kornberg's family just happens to be close with someone who donated millions of dollars to the GOP (and she forgot to mention it). But we cannot take that risk, and we really have no need to.
