But this, this is the game that made me realize why so many others love this franchise. It also made me want to visit Honolulu. In a year with a ton of JRPG's this is the one I'll remember the most.

#3 - Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door [2024] I was giddy and shocked when this got announced. One of my favorite games, ever, dripping with nostalgia. While the modern version holds up (and then some - thanks for the increased item limit); I didn't feel all the magic. But, damn it's still good.
