This was really fun, not gonna lie.
It's a pun on "bi" in reference to "bisexual" which is a sexual orientation which is represented by a flag with pink, purple, and pink stripes. Happy Pride y'all.
I was going for that gray corner, though the shadow of the tree quickly fled before I really got much pastel on the board. Lots of people stopped by to check on what I was makin'. Some people on the rough road to recovery, some people lonely, others just chatty or curious. All of them were delightful to talk to. I felt like the easel just kinda planted me in place as a fixture of the street, a harmless curiosity that made people at ease. It was frankly really great. Probably the least socially anxious I've felt around so many people in a long time. Keep in mind the chipmunk over there, they make an appearance later.

In English, the word "Spectral" can mean many different things. The electromagnetic spectrum (the rainbow of visible light, and all other invisible such radiant energy), the range of values between two binary extremes; and unexpectedly enough ghosts and spirits, who are described as "spectral" due to sharing the Latin linguistic root for "vision". On the topic of non-binary values, warfare is described as a prime example, there being a near infinite range of domains (air, land, sea, space, cyber) and escalation. Peace is a fiction beset by information warfare, police actions, gray zone warfare, deniable operations, CCD, the list goes on. Even open and legally declared is not absolute. You, keen reader, are in this mix, reflecting, radiating, interacting at a distance. Your acknowledgment is not required, and many prefer it muddied or silent. But to hold a pen, is to be at war.
The colors around here are breathtaking. I just wanted to play around with them a bit, one day with enough practice maybe I could do them some justice.
I love having inside jokes that not even other players know about, like the stark difference in alignments between these two characters. I still imagine these two would be begrudging friends though.
I think this guy is an anime character, but they might've thought I was an anime character, so fair.

Amusingly, the cropped out bottom half of this photo has a tripod in the background that makes me look like I'm stuck on a stick like an action figure. Not terribly flattering though with the implications of where the stick'd be stuck.
I was really unsure whether to post, but got a thumbs-up from the lady in my life, so on the ‘net it goes. According to her, the character is extremely pettable. I think I’d like to 3d model this character, hence the refrence A-pose, but just got carried away experimenting with shading layers.
I realize now the shape of the water bottle is what is probably closest to the Coke bottle shape, while definitely being not Coke. Maybe it’s that blue NukaCola.
While I like them all, the pink one was the fav when I asked others.
Kobolds do sweat, but only for comedic effect. Also those glasses are her real glasses.
Too dry to clump, so had to carve. Was gonna up the contrast but TBH this looks fun too.

It of course doesn't show in a still photo, but I had to hit it with the shimmer and metallic. My only regret is not getting a pic under blacklight.
I'm thinking of naming it "Perception" or the like.
I just used a normal hardware store paint sieve stuffed into a funnel to get all the particulates out.

It's only a WIP. Been trying to follow some tuts on rigging for use in Unreal, but needed some practice with another model.
It's actually a half-moon.
Today I leaned what stromboli was. This is a celebration of that occurrence.
We got flag prints, colored pencil, there were stencils for various shapes and emblems, we painted and embossed, it was a good time.
Different wavelengths for different folks.
Observe the sacred geometry, an array of possible shapes. Balance is achieved towards the center, with each step outwards more tenuous than the last. The universe seeks balance, and to forge ahead in such a oblique path would require extreme determination.
I wish that the thumbnail of this wouldn't cut off the pointy end, but perhaps the pointy end is a tad too pointy anyhow. Oh well, v0.1 at least.

Creatures enjoy color too. How else would a bee pick one flower to alright upon in a field of flowers? Besides accident, of course, the delightful bumbling creatures.
We are all travelers in this world, temporary residents, transients. Wash in the sun, relish the moon, and ease the burdens and share the joys of being here with those you can.

Various critters in various stages of brainstorming. Also critter claws, clip-clops, and cattails. Various themes, random colors, no textures.
With straight wings they end up clipping on the, uh, ample posterior geometry. Kinda looks like a funky beetle tho.
To those who are familiar with this sort of photography, the grass is a dead giveaway. I'm always fascinated how this sort of spectral pickiness can yield dramatically unusual reflectances across different materials and pigments.
Sometimes one, despite one's sallow flesh and sloppy spittle, just wants some comfy socks.

An intro page from a "Pitch Deck" for my untitled mech game I'm developing in Unreal Engine. It covers a couple things: such as the style of game, which is 3d arena battler; core interactions, which is an interplay between offensive and defensive tools; and a balance between real-world authenticity and movement, with a dash of science-fiction for flavor.
A spark of life unquenched by the deluge. A light in the darkness, a line of a heartbeat. The sign to yourself that you still exist. A warning to adversaries, a rally to allies. Even if it is temporary, may it serve you well.
A simple line separates the quick from the dead. An ethereal tether between what we know, and what we fear. It is up to us to not fear while we still live. Also that's glow paint.
It was a dark and foggy night... dunno where I was going with that, but that was last night. The cool part about fog is that it looks very dramatic outside with the light streaming through it. The uncool part about playing airsoft in the fog is all the fog that happens in your goggles. And there was a LOT last night.
This time the sulking rabbit is encaged within a rectangular prison (ha, puns) that is decorated to vaguely match the theme of the chemical illustration. Polymers and pigments dance around to the tune that the light waves dictate.

The week really starts on Monday, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Because, y'know, right now I'm right there.
Just some images preliminary. Two-dimensional concept art. At first I was pondering these creatures ought to be color-coordinated, with more rigid sections being one color, and more flexible sections another, but I forgot partway through and this is why it's only a work in progress concept piece. The glowing eyes and mechanical bodies convey a sort of spooky vibe, and the scale, which is not visible here, actually make them hulking dangerous monsters, which I think any good mech should appear as. This will of course contrast strongly with the bright colors and cute personalities in the same way that Tachikoma do in GitS.
