Fake or fact: Acetone can display the Leidenfrost effect.
Now, when we encounter an effect whose cause is unknown, the path is clear, and we have followed it. We did for this property what we had done for all the others; we studied it carefully, at least as far as our limited experimental resources would allow, and we looked for its laws in order to coordinate them and establish a theory. What, in fact, is a theory? It is the analytical connection of particular facts with a general fact.
