This basically takes the best lessons you could learn from final fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger and Live a Live to create a simple and to the point classic JRPG experience.

And when I say Classic, I mean it. This is the most Snes JRPG you could get from an indie game today. Most indie rpgs, despite having pixelart, don't really try to be this accurate to that era of JRPGs. The music, graphics, writing, gameplay. EVERYTHING feels pulled from an actual snes game.
The weird setting and highly detailed pixel art and backgrounds make me think of Lennus 2 and if your game makes me think of that that's how I know you're a real one Dump is super great
