The fox soldier Umee approaches his comrade, Haru, who is manning a machine gun nest. Umee: Unit seven, that's a dress code violation! Haru: No, four. It's "coutier velour" from the mid-summer lineup. Haru points out at the battlefield, strewn with wreckage and corpses. Umee: You're going to get yourself killed! Haru: Buddy, even if I wore that cardboard we call armor, I'd end up getting killed by Mr. One Man Army anyway.
Panel 1 - Two soldiers are approached by a merchant with a huge rucksack. The merchant waves and yells at one soldier. Merchant: 'Allo Miss Tuna! Got some goods to sell ya! Soldier: Mind yourself, private. Martians will always try to swindle you. Panel 2 - The Merchant and soldier talk, with the Merchant holding up a racy magazine. Soldier: Alright, what is it this time? Merchant: Got a crate of diet soda, a dozen cans of insta-loaf, and issue four of "Boobapalooza"! Panel 3 - The soldier snaps her fingers. Soldier: Bring it over! Panel 4 - An enormous rocket artillery truck pulls up behind the two of them. Soldier: We'll take your entire stock. Merchant: Uh... Soldier: I can go higher.
