I'm just thinking that it would be all well and good to create a specific exception for particular public transport vehicles to cross the bridge, but if there was a wider exemption then this could support micromobility innovations more generally (see pics).

Plus it might avoid the need to create a bespoke shuttle service if said vehicles provide another way for people who can't walk or cycle to get across the bridge. I'm not sure if we even have a way to create a more nuanced traffic order than "no motor vehicles" in this country, though.
