This is absurd and goofy and the conceit frankly breaks my brain a little to think about, but if you are a Christmas Rom-Com person who does not mind yours a little self-aware, you will possibly love this in the same way I did - like ABSORBED and WHAT DID I WATCH and I NEED TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THIS.
