Lickability @lickability.com · Oct 14 Our engineer Ashli found an unexpected interaction regarding the allowsNumberPadPopover variable that was added in iOS 26: Sometimes it presents as a pop up, other times it does not. It also sometimes gets stuck in a disappeared state in one of our apps.

Because of these inconsistent behaviors, we opted to turn it off. However, while UIKit exposes the property, we haven’t found a way to configure it in SwiftUI other than using introspection to access the UIKit under the hood.
