I’m always amazed at how much Abraham Lincoln aged through his Presidency. How he must have suffered with the responsibility of that office! The loss of children. The depression of a wife. The real THREAT of the destruction of America looming over him daily! The gloating of those against the Union!
What would Lincoln say and do about the very people who are expected to save and protect the Union, yet are destroying it? From the President, to his administration, to 1/2 of Congress, to SCOTUS.
