I recently spent time with Everyday Life After the Irish Conflict: The Impact of Devolution and Cross-Border Cooperation and was particularly struck by the way the work explores the lasting effects of conflict not only through institutions and political structures, but through the routines, identities, and experiences of everyday life. What feels especially compelling is the extent to which the book reveals how questions of identity, belonging, memory, and cooperation continue unfolding long after formal political agreements have been reached.
