My forest 😍😍😍 Not an area we’re working on today, but we’ve done this part in the past. That cedar on the front left edge is about 7 feet from the back wall of the house. I call it Grandmother Cedar (Grandpa Cedar is in the front). I do leave it alone forest management. We only take out dangerous (to buildings/people) trees, leave habitat stumps, and let the debris stay to build soil as much as possible. We have a LOT of fauna living in our forest - just yesterday had deer foraging in the front yard and last year got to watch a family of barred owls grow up in one of the habitat stumps out back!

Book titled Watercolor for the artistically undiscovered by Thacher Hurd and John Cassidy. It includes both glossy instructions pages and watercolor paper pages so you can do the lessons and experiments. I thrifted mine so some of the early pages are partially used. I don’t mind! I can still use them for pen and ink detail and other practice and I’ve got a separate watercolor paper pad.
