At this point, if you capitulate to fear, you are no better than the non voter or GOP voter that voted for the unconstitutional, illogical, illegal actions of the Gop Trump administration. That is my free speech right to say. It is truth.
Mutes might be private but there are ways to find out if you are muted. If you reply to a post and is says posted but you don't see it even after refresh you are probably muted. So your reply is in your replies but not the page, you are not linked to that post at all.

I don’t understand labels. People I follow have labels that don’t apply to their accounts. Can anyone label someone an Engagement Farmer, as an example? What is the recourse for labels that are obviously not fact?
