One of the queues of coaches in Greenfield - this one is of coaches waiting to take bands off to their next contest. There was a similar queue of coaches bringing bands into the village. The same thing was happening, simultaneously, at each of the other 10 villages.
This is the Ratby Cooperative Band, marching through Greenfield. Interestingly, they were also carrying a sign that said they were also "Grimley Colliery Band". I guess that means they must have supplied all the additional band members (beyond the professional actors) for the filming of "Brassed Off".

There is a pharmacy in Aberdyfi that was established in 1863, and is still a pharmacy. It says "Medical Hall" above it, and the shop front looks to be original.
