Several renders of a fairly low-poly ASP handgun with a hand-painted stylized texture. The ASP was an effort to create a custom tactical handgun in the 1970s, cutting down and polishing any sharp edges or snags on a full-size pistol, fitting a custom sight, and adding custom transparent plastic grips, among other things.
It's #makeaterriblecomicday2026 ! A page with a lot of light penciled in sketches and text. Some of it says "I don't know what to make, so I guess I'll just start with a character." There's a sketch reminiscent of a popular long-running animated sitcom character. A little oval-shaped person sitting in a chair with a cup of coffee and a stylus, near the text "I made coffee just now but don't feel like doing an auto-bio thing." and "Don't want to get too self-aware either". There's a badly drawn little cartoon guy jumping over a crumbling crevasse with alligators in it, and the text "How does stylization work?". There's a little spherical creature with a beak and tiny wings and feet. Says "Little bird guy" next to it. There's a guy with a simple two-legged torso and a spherical head with an oblong toothy mouth who looks really grumpy. They're labelled with question marks. That character is inked in with a dark layer. An arrow pointing to it says "Ok". Next is four frames of comic, with the grey pencil planning layer still present, but mostly inked. All text from here on out is either a label or an author-commentary space, no in-universe dialogue. First panel: Shows the grumpy guy looking at the little bird guy. "Here we go! Now it's a comic!" Second panel: The bird leaps off of the ground, and takes to the air, flapping its tiny wings. The grumpy guy looks up at it. We can see more of the background, mostly a desolate landscape with what looks like bones, and some rocks. Third panel: As the bird guy circles further up into the air and leaves the scene, we can see some human skeletal remains, a couple of old barrels leaking unknown toxic waste, and an ominous above-ground sewer access structure labelled "probably monsters live in the storm drains" Author text says "Looks kinda post-apocalyptic here. Sorry about that." Panel 4: "Here's a gun. Good luck!" A gun appears next to the feet of the grumpy guy who looks very stressed. It's unclear if they have arms.
