Figure of the organization of the molecular and cellular profiles of the seven canonical intrinsic networks. We are revealing the existence of opposing lateralization profiles in language- and attention-related networks at the molecular and cellular level.

Figure of the molecular substrates of neurotransmitter receptor and transporter modes underlying functional cortical lateralization. We show mitochondrial phenotypes as substrates for lateralization of the acetylcholine-norepinephrine axis.
Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) results reveal the neurotransmitter receptor and transporter substrates underlying functional cortical lateralization. We are showing that an acetylcholine-norepinephrine axis underlines functional lateralization of language and visuospatial attention.
