In case anyone specifically wonders how much of Claude Pro plan usage is needed for using Opus 4.7 to just *plan* a migration for a Jekyll project with 7 gems and ~40 pages of short content to Astro:

Yeah I found that 4.7’s contrarian self check burns through the usage a lot. Expanding the thinking it basically spends 2/3s complaining about itself instead of doing the task.

I've been putting off migrating this Jekyll project for years but saw the opportunity to tryout both Opus 4.7 and Astro 6. I specified the generated site to be semantically identical in the prompt (allows whitespace diffs). It took only about a day from plan to deploy a mostly byte-identical site.
