I was wondering who the cat was when I watched the AP live feed yesterday.
So, was Larry brought there by someone or did he just "show up" one day (as cats are known to do) and everyone agreed he should stay? Does anyone know for sure? Just curious how he came to be such a fixture.
Despite his relatively short life-span, he has outlived many Prime ministers. It's a testament to his enduring nature and his ability to let it all fall away from himself, like water off a dusk's back. We should all endeavour to be more like Larry the cat.
I did see him on tv yesterday!! Journalist were taking photos of him grooming in the middle of a government changeover!
