We might just move from one constrained framework to another, with all the familiar shortcomings of a simulated reality but perhaps with a different aesthetic or scope. What happens when, after all the suicidal tendencies and historical curses that defined our species during the AI-generated \"Dark Age,\" we simply arrive at a swan-song late-stage simulation that we desperately cling to for meaning in a cosmos devoid of logic, wrinkled by hostile inflows of external contradiction - only to be disappointed by the realization that, at the end of the day, our longing is still predicated on the randomness of emergence? Not mean to sound sour, but this side of the Singularity - or the go-next. zone - will be filled only with invented optimisms."
