Robert Burke @lostluck.dev · Dec 30 I now have a tub that I can soak in, a fancy toilet I'd probably never upgrade to without a good reason to replace the old one, and a large spare cans of my wall and trim paints, that will be getting serious use this week as i do all the paint touch up projects around the house. So time to beer!

The need to mind the contractors means i haven't been able to take a break as much as I would like. I'd have to be on. I couldn't have people over, or be able to clean effectively since it would just get dirty again tomorrow.
My main complaint about this whole thing is the interposition of insurance in being able to make the process smooth. Am I glad to have insurance? Yes. But there was a universe where this was all done by October, and it wasn't because insurance simply didn't do their job for that month.
