The ship's figurehead is a statue of Amphion, the son of Zeus and the ship's namesake. In the background, we see the ship's model in a glass cabinet and to the right - the entire stern of the ship, which is ornamented and has four windows of the command room.

The second version of the ship has the same sail rigging. The line going along the brown hull is orange.
Photo of the Pride of Baltimore taken in 1981. It's a two-masted topsail schooner, meaning it's main sails go along the length of the ship, rather than perpendicular to it but unlike a regular schooner, a topsail schooner also has perpendicular square sails at the top of its foremast. In case of Pride of Baltimore, it has three triangular sails connected to the bowsprit (the long pole at the front of the ship). Then a trapezoid-shaped sail attached to each mast, two square sails at the top of the foremast and a triangular sail at the top of the mainmast. The vessel itself is brown with a white stripe along the top of the hull.
