Okay but honestly, which landing page is better? Left: Professional Brand Identity Design from an Agency Right: Made by me

Even though first one looks cluttered I can't get my eyes off from it. But with few tweaks, we can make conversion focused hero section for the second one.
Diogo Viana 🇧🇷🇩🇪 · Nov 23
I like yours better
giancarlo · Nov 23
Like some bits from the left but feels too crowded
Alex Hillman · Nov 23
even without comparison, the first one is objectively very bad for sales/conversion. Tons of unclickable click targets, low/confusing contrast is hard to read, most important element (CTA) is the same color as other low priority items AND it's buried.

So I followed you because I'm trying to follow Vue/Node developers, I didn't know you had an app. The one on the left made me understand what your app does (cool btw), while the one on the right didn't as well. But the one on the right is prettier.
Florian Vates · Nov 23
Left but I hate that they left out the "remote" part in the big copy.
@langtrak.bsky.social · Nov 23
Shouldn't it be "Work more efficiently" and not "work more efficient"?
Tony Dinh · Nov 24
Yours looks much better and more clear to me
Goon · Nov 23
I’m not very sure but if I have to pick, the left side 😅
Kevon Cheung 🥦 · Nov 24
Honestly, professional design is overrated lol They sometimes overthink
Michael · Nov 23
I like the one you made much more, it feels less cluttered
Adam Jackiw · Nov 23
The first is definitely more visually distracting but I do think the color theory and contrast is better. I’d saturate or sharpen up your primary button with it being in a greener area of the gradient. Really good design though imo!
Dan · Nov 23
I find the left too busy! Right feels nicer
Simon Frost ❄️ · Nov 25
Right! Left has way too many elements
Jan · Nov 23
Right one. Left one is distracting and cluttered
Nick Payne · Nov 23
Left is way too busy, I’ve no idea where to look or what I’m looking at. And the attempt to italicise the imagery is cute but just looks… weird
Daniel Koller · Nov 23
The second one
David · Nov 24
Yours. I like that it is less busy and much clearer
Minh-Phuc Tran · Nov 24
Yours, the left one is too distracting to trust
Justus Blümer · Nov 23
Yours is so much better. It communicates what stagetimer actually does, the first LP is mostly generic filler text
Tom · Nov 24
For me, the illustration’s shapes on the left one is too distracting, but it’s big part of the design so… 🤷
Thomas Bandt · Nov 23
@arshadm.bsky.social · Nov 24
Neither, both pages are so focused on the tech in the hero. Is there no way to show it in action so people get it immediately
Lambros Petrou · Nov 23
The only benefit of the left one is text. In your design there are a few cases the text is "indie", e.g. the wrapping right above the logos, text sizes, and the CTAs styling. I don't like the stagetimer logo of the left one, and neither the images since they distract too much from the CTA.

Agency's copy + your design = the winner
Konstantinos · Nov 23
Personally I like the second one because it's less cluttered.
Dennis · Nov 23
Left feels more like an exercise/workout mobile app and is also wayy too cluttered Yours is a lot easier to consume in general
Kamil Kwiecien · Nov 24
Agency, just simplify a bit
Niyan Ng · Nov 23
Personally I like the second design - it looks more clear and simple
Andrei Terteci · Nov 23
The first one is too distracting - at least for me. I couldn't get the message or what the product does at the first glance.
Tobi Hikari · Nov 23
For me right - left is too much stuff going on
Ruben · Nov 24
I like your explainer image but the agency design is nicer
Dagobert Renouf · Nov 24
designers are nice but they don't know 💩 about conversions. I think the branding of the left one is better, but the page itself is too busy and confusing. So yours will perform better
Pierre R · Nov 24
Left is nicer to look at, but the right one is easier to understand So I would pick the right one
Dilius · Nov 23
I feel that left trues to look like sports gear page, but I don’t know exactly what gear because of poor wording and visuals. The right one is clear and the pic with the cloud and everything is really nice. I wouldn’t mind a bit more personality in the design though. So right is clearly better.
Kermin · Nov 23
Ahmed · Nov 23
Design wise, I prefer the left one. But I just have this feeling that the right one will convert more
Josh 🚀 · Nov 23
The first one 👍 The second looks like everybody else’s.
Adam El 🐢 · Nov 24
Number 2 for me. Overall feels much more professional / legit - I think down to the colour scheme, more interest in the background, better graphics showing the features
Dmytro Krasun · Nov 24
It is impossible to say unbiasedly. My brain is used to your current one. And I feel a strong preference for it. Your current headline is also better, and I understand versus the one on the left.
Benjamin Houy · Nov 24
I prefer right, less overwhelming. With the left one, I just get bored and lose interest.
Praveen Pendyala · Nov 23
How do you mirror your posts?
Praveen Pendyala · Nov 23
Left for graphics, right for copy
@arnimpreuss.bsky.social · Nov 23
I definitely prefer your version!
Alfred · Nov 24
What agency? 😭
TL Peter · Nov 24
Right one for sure. Straight to the point. Too much going on in the left one. Not very clear about the messaging there.
call the police · Nov 23
The left one doesn't look like it was made by a professional agency. I see a visual mess.
Danny Thuering · Nov 24
Definitely the right one ☝️ The left one is way too confusing. 🫤
Stephan · Nov 23
How does it look in a mobile browser? Some thoughts: good (+) bad (-) Left: + More product UI/usage examples + I like the hero headline setup with the badge/bubble on top - Not enough space, too much text, Typo? "How it work"? Right: + space to breathe, clarity + clear separation & structure
b · Nov 23
I like the colors from the left but the layout from the right. Both would work but in the end it depends on your goals and long term vision
Nicolas C 👾 Dev · Nov 23
The first one is complex and a bit overwhelming, but the design and color scheme are cohesive. The second one feels more open and breathable, but it lacks structure, and the elements don’t quite fit together. And I'm not a fan of the gradient. I see potential in each with some more work. ⚡
avery · Nov 23
Always thought your landing page was great. The left has some good ideas but the right is just simply good overall. I prefer the right much more.
