Hatoful Boyfriend - an obsession during a dark time in my life, I have honestly never loved an anime boy as much as Anghel Higure more or since. also its sequel, Holiday Star, is also a big deal to me. Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak - One of my childhood favourites. Spat and Harmony are among my favourite Hamtaro characters to this day. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Digimon is really important to me, and I grew up with dawn/dusk, but Cyber Sleuth and its characters felt like a weird echo of people and circumstances I knew in the fandom as a teenager. it was both cathartic and a very entertaining time. bonus points for being an influence on Other London! Digimon World Redigitize Decode - another digimon one. this one and its predecessor also came to me at a dark time and helped me leave a borderline cult-like situation. also the origin of me calling at least one of my digimon partners "Puff the Magic Agumon." Super Paper Mario - the big one. words cannot describe how much this game has affected and shaped me. it sits in the middle as a testament to its worth. Earthbound/Mother 2 - the first fandom I spent a lot of time in! the early 2010s/late aughts were wild. also an influence on Other London, and one of my first exposures to Urban Fantasy as a genre, if you wanna count it as that. Pokemon Platinum - standing in for the whole series, but platinum is my favourite. most people seem to want to deck Ghestsis but tbh I really want to deck Cyrus. Adventure Quest Worlds - Also standing in for the whole series of Artix Entertainment games. AQ is probably one of my favourite things and it never stops being meaningful to me and I also never stop finding bits and bobs of ideas from it in my writing. Its also basically the epitome of "good cheesy fun." Super Smash Bros Brawl - the series that introduced me to fanfiction as a concept! shout out to Subspace Emissary's World Conquest. it was actuall really important to me as a kid.
