BZZT-BZZT! I slam my fist to shut the alarm off. I am still tired even though I got eight hours of sleep. This is why coffee was invented. After rubbing my eyes and going to the bathroom, I go straight for the coffee machine. When I open the cabinet, I find that I am out of coffee filters. I am annoyed. I don’t have enough time to go to the store before school, so I come up with a plan. I sneak into my mom’s room (she already left for work), I take a pair of her nylons out of her dresser drawer, cut them up with scissors, and put the coffee grounds in the foot part. I make the coffee, but it smells funny. I take one sip. It tastes like feet. I feel tired but I still drag my butt to school. I live too close for the bus route. My jeans are too long and they get wet from the rain puddles from last night. I feel like the world’s worst supermodel. Why? Because I am hot and I am short. I make it to Earth Science class for 1st period. I am only three minutes late. My teacher walks in literally 30 seconds later, coffee in hand. Bet it doesn’t taste like feet.
