Welsh Upland Zebra, a native species to the Cambrian mountains, in my garden this morning. This hardy sub-species are able to leap over 3 metre hedges, bunds and 5-bar gates with ease, and have been found in disused coal mines in Merthyr Tydfil rearing their young that hatch from large eggs. In the background one can see the legs of the Gwynedd white rhino, introduced into Ceredigion in the 1850s as a conservation measure after they were in danger of extinction due to tourists to Eryri taking them home.
