TL:DR for those who haven't been keeping up with the story: During March of the Machine, Zhalfir returned from being phased out by Teferi long ago. It happened to emerge where Mirrodin used to be, hence the multiple suns in this art!
This art is confusing to me -- why do we have vast plains with ancient looking structures? Wasn't this city newly transported to this location? Wasn't it just a single city that Teferi phased out as opposed to large tracts of land?
