Finished Yuri Kuma Arashi So from what I could gather just based on what was presented from this anime, this is supposed to be a critique on Yuri works in general and how fetishized the culture is. It has a pro LGBTQ message to it that I can somewhat see with the endgame couple, but I find it flawed in its execution. If the message has to be sent across through fetishized scenes directed with male gaze in mind and having an unusually light hearted vibe to it, then it was really hard to see such a message. The scattering of scenes and general lack of clarity that lkuhara is a veteran at may have backfired for this anime. This is far from a work where I would have wanted to see such themes placed in.
