Kook: “I seem to be your most frequent guest on your show. I must boost ratings”
Judy: “Well that and it’s the best setting for the bits Amalgam wants to do. So much nicer than the white background. Anyway, Kook, you have the floor. But be civil.”
Kook: “Okay. So I was thinking back to my childhood.”
Judy: “Aww. I love childhood stories. Uh oh. Where’s this going?”
Kook: “So I’m reading an X-Men Evolution graphic novel. If I remember correctly, it’s one of my first real exposures to X-Men as a property.”
Judy: “We all gotta start somewhere”
Kook: “So I’m reading, and Cyclops saves a civilian and the civilian is mad at him! I’m like ‘Hey! He’s a superhero! This is…crazy’!”
Judy: “Thank you for being mindful of profanity.”
Kook: “And then I learned more about what X-Men symbolizes and it occurred to me. I don’t see powers.”
Judy facepalms: “THAT’S your takeaway?!”
Kook: “Yeah. Everyone’s equal and all that.”
Judy: “I, nor Amalgam, have the confidence to further tackle this nuance that you’re tickling, not scratching, the surface of. But this could have been a worse take.”

Rex: “What kind of EVO are you?”
Toad: “EVO? I’m a mutant—!”
