@ratlimit.bsky.social personally I found being 90% vegetarian was harder, because it meant I had to debate myself each time, instead of just having the choice made for me already. It also was *way* easier for friends to understand. I think this is called a "Schelling point"?

I basically do this. It's simpler for me because I hate having people accommodate. So results in doing vegetarian any time I'm eating/cooking alone, but still going hard on meat when doing kbbq and such with friends.

100% was way easier for friends to understand, I mean. Rather than 90%
